The GIVE US BACK OUR HARBOUR group was set up in April 2011 after work at the Greystones Harbour construction site came to a full stop, with no indication that public access to the harbour amenity would be created after 3.5 years of deprivation. The group organised petitions, lobbies, and events aimed at having the hoardings around the building site taken down and the amenity returned to the people.
